A Place For Transformation
Harstine Island, Washington
Retreat, Re-center, Re-engage
What is Heartstone Hermitage?
HERMITAGE – A SECLUDED RESIDENCE, RETREAT, OR DWELLING PLACE, OFTEN IN A REMOTE AREA, OFFERING SOLITUDE AND QUIET.Tucked into the forest of Harstine Island, Heartstone Hermitage is a developing folk school and retreat center that will offer space to step out of the urgency of modern living and into deliberate, embodied rest.
We believe personal and collective transformation emerges when the nervous system feels safe enough. Our offerings are designed to cultivate resilience through building bodily safety, connection to community, and cultural touchpoints.
How We Cultivate Rest
-
We are currently building our center for physical rest – which will include sauna, outdoor showers, baths, and trails through the forest.
-
We are building toward hosting workshops and classes exploring somatics, nervous system education, druidry, magical principles, ecology, art, and craft. Offering space to learning through practice, reflection, and presence.
-
We offer individual somatic coaching for those seeking personalized support.
Sessions with Wolfe Erikson focus on nervous system awareness, resilience, and choice. This work supports regulation, transition, and deeper attunement to the body’s signals.
-
We host seasonal community events, including feasts aligned with the turning of the pagan wheel. These moments honor transition, rhythm, and shared meaning.
Follow our path as we build.
In our newsletter we’ll share milestones, curiosities, and opportunities for feedback as we build our center for transformation
