Thistle is a prickly stalky plant with beautiful purple flowers beloved by bees. Our thistle hydrosol is made from wild foraged thistle flowers collected at Heartstone Hermitage. Thistle hydrosol is sweet with an underlying prickly bitterness.
Thistles have often been associated with protection, wards, setting boundaries along with tenacity and perseverance in adversity. Thistle is aligned with the Sun and Jupiter. (Schulke 2023, 413).
