The Douglas Fir is an iconic symbol of the Pacific Northwest. Our fir hydrosol is made from wild foraged fir tips from the many fir trees that also call Heartstone Hermitage home. Fir has an unexpectedly bright citrus note paired with the feeling of a misty forest walk. Fir hydrosol leaves the skin feeling soft and refreshed.
Fir is aligned with the Sun and is associated with purifying the home and body and with funerary rites. (Schulke 2023, 170).
